Americas Tour
Seabed 2030
The Seabed 2030 BathySphere continues to impress and engage audiences around the world. In late 2025, this unique interactive installation, which features maps, animations and videos, travelled right across the Americas.
The tour kicked off at the Ocean Floor Explorer event in Victoria, Canada. Our team then packed up and shipped the sphere to Rio de Janeiro, Brazil for the SBGF Conference. The final stop on the non-stop trip was right at the bottom of the continent for the annual HCA Meeting in Punta Arenas, Chile.
Hannah and Erika also got to jump aboard an Antarctic icebreaker ship to see first-hand where the bathymetry is gathered. We’re delighted to say that sphere and operators returned safely from the Antarctic and are already packing for their next adventure.
